3.15 Beverly 5f Listed Race 3yo+
Wise Words has been knocking on the door in 5 f listed races recently. She has a losing distance of a total of 2 lengths and a head over the last 3 races coming 2nd , 4th and 2nd which shows how close she has been to winning. All three of the races were won in good times which shows she pretty much just has to run to the same level to at least get a place if not a win. She has been lightly raced this season and is more than capable of winning a race like this at the weights.

Fox Tal was unlucky not to win a group 3 last time out. The gelding was placed third over 1m4f in a group 3 on good to soft at Goodwood just losing out on the win by ½ length. Looking through the form I think he would have preferred the good to firm ground on offer Saturday. He was repeatedly short of room from over 2f out and did not get to make his run until he found space in the last furlong and went pretty much all out whilst staying on. It was his first trip over a distance of around 1m4f this season and I think it suited him at this stage of his development.

Simon and Ed Crisford have been in great form during the last 14 days with 5 winners from 20 runners (25%) Noble Patron can add to the tally. He is up 4lb for his class 4 win over a mile on good to firm at Windsor last time out. The favourite Power Station is up 9lb for his win at Salisbury in a class 5 contested over a mile on good ground when you remove the rider claim in his last race. Noble Patrons time was faster and was in a better class race so I hypothesize that Noble Patron should have the beating of him. David Probert is on board which is always a plus
