The Sam England trained Mark’s Choice looks a good bet in this race.

The 5 year old gelding won a class 2 handicap over course and distance last time out in a good time.  Leading in the last 110 yards he ran on well. It was a field of sixteen and he won by a length. He meets I Am A Dreamer again on even terms this time who he beat last time into 3rd by 1 ¾ lengths but I think he will get the best of him again.

In spite of carrying joint top weight he should cope fine as he will enjoy dropping by 2 classes for this race. Mark’s Choice enjoys this course having won on it 5 out of the eleven times he has appeared here. The ground won’t be a problem.

Cam Hardie is in the saddle which in this case is a plus. He rode the horse well last time it won and will be used to him.
