5.10 Fontwell 2m3f Bet365 Handicap Hurdle (GBB Race) (Class 2) (3yo+ 0-145)

The Gary Moore trained Vorashann seems to really like Fontwell. He is a versatile horse and can win on soft ground.

Last time out Vorashann took his second win at Fontwell running over 2m 1 1/2f on good ground in a good time staying on well. He won the class 3 race well beating Northern Bound in to third who won next time by 4 lengths.

A small 2lb rise should give him a great chance of notching up two in a row.

Josh Moore rode him to win last time so knows how to get the job done.

Itacare had wind surgery in June and changed trainer from M Mescam to David Pipe at the beginning of September. Having previously been tried with blinkers for a couple of races some time ago his new trainer has elected to fit him with a first time tongue tie.

David Pipes yard is in good form currently and he will have spent the last month tuning him up ready for this.  Itacare did well on his reappearance last time out after a 88 day break winning a race in France over 2m 2 ½ f on very soft ground. He stayed on strongly that day.

Tom Scudamore rides and is in brilliant form with 4 wins from 13 rides which is a 31% strike rate.

At the weights over 2m2f on soft ground this looks the one to be on.
